Endeavour College of Natural Health has increased its annual school-leaver scholarship program from five to thirty places for students graduating high school this year, as well as 2018 and 2019. The partial scholarships represent savings of around $4400 per student and are being offered for our new Diploma of Health Science, which is delivered entirely online and can be completed in as little as one year (full-time study). In the past, Endeavour has offered one scholarship per degree (with five health science degrees on offer) but Katrina Arch, Endeavour’s Director of Sales and Admissions, said moving the scholarship opportunities to the new Diploma of Health Science took into account the needs of the current crop of school-leavers."It has been an incredibly disruptive year for the Class of 2020 and with these scholarships, we’re hoping to take some pressure off school-leavers who have been under immense stress as they complete their high school education in the middle of a pandemic. Students not wanting to commit to the time or expense of a full degree might be on the lookout for a micro-credential that will see them graduate with a qualification within 12 months so they can get straight into the workforce, take the gap year put off by the pandemic or pathway into more study. And it doesn’t matter what university admission rank students receive – none of our courses require a mark for entry," Katrina said.Scholarship opportunities without bordersThe scholarships are available nationwide and with the Diploma of Health Science available online, Katrina said it was a great opportunity for students in regional and remote towns to access the higher education qualification for the first time."Our new Diploma represents an exciting new opportunity for regional students, especially those from university towns who might be looking for more study options or an avenue into a booming industry brimming with job opportunities," Katrina said."With this unprecedented amount of scholarships on offer for our one-year Diploma, we hope to encourage school-leavers to make the most of 2021 by spending the year studying instead of waiting for borders to reopen or the economy to reboot."Read more about school leaver scholarship opportunities for the Diploma of Health Science – applications close 11 December, 2020.
