This two day workshop will provide a foundation of knowledge about the different types of scoliosis along with information about current conservative best practice for treatment: MFR delivered asymmetrically, Schroth Method and low-force joint mobilising techniques. There is also the necessary study of spinal mechanics - Fryettes’s Laws - and their significance in understanding what the underlying biomechanics of roto-scoliosis are. The bulk of the class however is concerned with learning how to apply MFR in a way that corresponds with the asymmetry unique to each patient.
