When we think of healing we often go straight to the physical; healing our bones, our skin, our digestive system – yet, sometimes we need a little bit of self-indulgence or as its known ‘chocolate therapy’ to support the healing process.
Cacao is naturally rich in antioxidants and minerals such as magnesium. Cacao also has this amazing ability to support and even boost our moods! The nuts included in the recipe provide a delicious source of good fats, protein and fibre – all which help support a happy digestive system and in turn support our mind.

2 cups of hazelnut meal½ cup of desiccated coconut2 tablespoons chia seeds½ cup chopped mixed nuts (hazelnuts, cashews, pecans and almonds work deliciously) 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (optional)4 tablespoons melted coconut oil½ teaspoon cinnamon powderpinch of salt to seasonDIPPING CHOCOLATE:
2 tablespoons cacao powder2 tablespoons melted coconut oil1 tablespoon maple syrup
