Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine)
Become an expert in this revered field of medicine through a course designed to give you a complete understanding of how Chinese Medicine balances the functions of the body, mind and spirit and restores health.
You’ll also learn the philosophy and principles of Chinese Medicine as well as acupuncture, moxibustion, medical Qi Gong, Chinese remedial massage(Tui Na), Chinese herbal prescribing and dispensing, and Chinese dietary therapy.
Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture Therapies)
Immerse yourself in this exciting specialisation and develop a thorough understanding of human biology functions, Chinese dietary therapy, Chinese medicine channel systems, musculoskeletal anatomy, and clinical diagnosis and consultation.
As well as becoming a qualified Acupuncturist, you’ll also practice and refine clinic management and decision-making skills that will be instrumental to your future career – all within the protected environment of our student clinics.
Diploma of Health Science (Chinese Remedial Massage)
Develop a deep understanding of the philosophy and history of Traditional Chinese Medicine while learning practical Chinese remedial massage skills and techniques. These include Tui Na, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, topical herbal applications, and medical Qi Gong.
If you’re already a qualified massage therapist, broaden your skill-set within the massage field by adding Chinese massage to your repertoire.
Students have the opportunity to progressively study each course and pathway (with credit) into the next or to receive exit qualifications dependant on subject completion.
