Join Ryko Kalinko for this 1 hour engaging, interactive presentation, where you will learn some simple practical techniques for understanding stress and how to combat it.
Stress impacts us in many ways - physically, emotionally, behaviourally and mentally. This workshop provides an evidence based set of tools for dealing with stress on each of these levels. Physical tools provided are breath control and peripheral vision; emotional tools discussed are self soothing and self-compassion. For handling stress on the mental level we discuss "reframing" and for behavioural strategies we discuss hobbies, recreation and taking breaks.
