This webinar provides a foundational understanding of Chinese Dietetic principles and discusses how you can use food as medicine. Chinese Dietetics classifies foods by the organs they effect, the season, the 5 elements, flavour, temperature, and direction of action in the body. The focus will be on foods which are beneficial to eat in Spring and ways which you can incorporate these foods into your everyday life. We will look at common ailments which tend to appear in Spring and learn some simple ways to use Chinese Medicine to improve health.
