On campus fermenting and networking event.
Join us for this exciting Endeavour student networking event, where you will have the opportunity to learn how to make ferments while socialising with other students.
The workshop will be facilitated by Nutritional Medicine alumnus Sarah Challen began exploring fermentation techniques in her first year of study at Endeavour College of Natural Health. Starting with simple lactic-based ferments like yoghurt and sauerkraut, through research, community and experimentation her repertoire expanded to include alcoholic beverages, bread products, condiments; and most recently, techniques which harness useful benign moulds - producing delicacies like tempeh, cheese and miso. Rather than rigid techniques, Sarah's teaching style aims to nurture a sense of curiosity and exploration in the learner. When not cultivating microbes, Sarah is also a yoga teacher and keen gardener.
The fermenting demonstration will start at 2.30pm and will run for approximately 2 hour. If you have virtual classes on the day, we invite you to make use of our on campus classrooms before or after the fermenting workshop.
Due to COVID restrictions, we have limited spots available therefore we require you to RSVP as soon as possible. If you are no longer able to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure another student doesn't miss the opportunity to attend.
