Join Dr Mike Armour as he discusses the latest research on self-care for pelvic pain and how this may best be used by women in the community. Self-care interventions will cover yoga postures, stretching, dietary changes and heat. There will also be a discussion around safety and optimum “dosing” of these interventions

About the Presenter:

Dr Armour joined NICM in 2016 as a Research Fellow working in the area of women's health, with a specific interest in dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain. His background is a mixture of western and eastern medicine, having completed an honours degree in biomedicine before training as a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.
