Postponement of graduation ceremonies
Your health and safety, as well as that of our staff, are a priority to us which is why we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming graduation ceremonies
Graduating is a significant milestone for any student and we are hoping to reschedule these ceremonies at a later date. In the meantime, we are currently working on a plan to honour your achievements in other ways and will keep you up to date on the progress of this.
We share your disappointment about the graduation ceremonies, but know you understand that these are challenging times for us all. We hope to share with you some positive news in the coming months.
My guests have already arranged flights and accommodation. Will I get a refund?
It depends on who you booked your flights and accommodation with. Most airlines have released communications on the current situation and we suggest reaching out to them directly.
Will I still receive my testamur?
Most of you will have already received your Testamur as part of the normal College Governance cycle after conferral of degrees by Academic Council on 21 February 2020.
At this stage for those students with the status ‘Eligible to Graduate (EG)’ (applied to graduate after 21 Feb 2020), the next Academic Council is scheduled for early to mid-May. Once Council has conferred the current EG students, Testamurs will be posted out by registered post in the normal manner.
We will continue to keep you informed of any changes to the next Academic Council date should this need to be changed.
