Webinar: Understanding the role of human environments in disease
5:30pm – Wed 22 November 2017
This presentation will bring environmental health information into the realm of clinical naturopathy. An overview of the interaction between the environment and human health will be provided. The main focus will be the discussion of key environmental hazards inducing morbidity and mortality in urban environments; such as air pollution, endocrine disrupting chemicals and heavy metals.
The naturopathic practitioner will gain an understanding of the mechanism of action for these hazards, and the appropriate naturopathic care options for reducing their health impacts.
