Do I have to attend my Graduation Ceremony to graduate? What if I am unable to attend my Graduation Ceremony?
Students do not need to attend a Graduation Ceremony to graduate from their course or to obtain academic documentation.
Students are deemed eligible to graduate when the results of final subjects are released, and all fees have been paid. You're application to graduate will be automatically forwarded to the Office of Student Records for confirmation and processing.
Why do I have to pay to attend my own Graduation?
There is a cost associated with attending your graduation ceremony - the graduand ticket price includes attending the ceremony, the hire of the academic gown which is a requirement of graduands attending the ceremony and cocktail function afterwards.
Do I have to wear academic gown and mortarboard?
Yes, academic gowning and mortarboards are mandatory for graduands to wear at their Graduation Ceremony. When you RSVP to your ceremony/purchase your tickets, you will be asked to submit your measurements for your academic regalia.
What is the different between the academic gown for Diploma of Health Science and Bachelor’s Degree graduands?
Bachelor’s Degree graduands will wear a mortarboard, whereas Diploma of Health Science graduands will not.
Can I hire my gown from another company?
No, we have entered a contract with our preferred supplier, which includes the gown, mortarboard and Endeavour hood. As such, academic regalia may not be sourced or hired from another external company.
I have my own academic regalia. Can I purchase a ticket without being charged a hire fee?

Can I purchase my own gown and hood?
No, Endeavour College of Natural Health hire all academic regalia for our Graduation Ceremonies. This is to ensure the correct Endeavour Green colour is used, as this acts as a strong representation of the College.
What is Endeavour Green and why is it used?
Endeavour College is a cohesive education institution with a national footprint. Graduates of our Health Science degrees and qualifications across Australia are proud to wear the Endeavour College of Natural Health green hood as part of their academic gown. As benchmarked to Australian universities and tertiary institutions, these colours are nominated by this College as a formal representation of successful study.
When will I receive my documentation?
Once your Application to Graduate has been processed and confirmed, a Letter of Completion and an Academic Transcript will be issued with the status ‘Eligible to Graduate” (EG). Please allow 7-10 days to receive your documents.
The final process is a conferral of your degree by the Academic Council, which meets approximately every two months. After conferral, your Testamur (certificate) will be posted within the following 14 days.
All documents will be posted to the address you provided on the form when you have applied to graduate. If you have not received your documents within the stated timeframes, please contact Student Services.
How can I request a copy of my Academic Transcript?
Students receive a free copy of their official documentation upon graduation. Current and past students, or requests for re-issue will incur a $25.00 cost per re-issue request. Postage and handling charges apply.
Please allow a minimum of 7-10 working days from the processing of this form for receipt of your Transcript and ensure you have provided the correct postal address.
Please complete the Request for Academic Documentation Form and return to Student Services at your local campus.
Will I be able to register with associations before receiving my Testamur?
You can use your Letter of Completion and Academic Transcript to apply to join an association/s. Please contact each association to check on what the individual application and documentation requirements are.
When will the details for the Annual Graduation Ceremony be announced?
Endeavour College of Natural Health holds national Graduation Ceremonies once a year (September). Ceremony details will be posted to the website late in the calendar year for the following year’s ceremony. Students eligible to attend will then be sent an save the date in June and formal invitation August. Please ensure that you advise the College of any change to email addresses on an ongoing basis to ensure you receive your invitation. Further information can be found here.
Do I need to buy tickets for my guests?
Yes, graduands must purchase tickets for any guests who would like to attend the ceremony. Please note, this is a ticketed event and your ticket is required to gain entry.
How many guests can I invite to Graduation?
To ensure each graduand has the opportunity to bring along a member of their family or friends, there is a limit set for the first round of guest tickets. Once this due date has passed, and if there are extra guest tickets available, there will be a second release. Please refer to your campus-specific Eventbrite invitation for dates and deadlines. What time do I have to be at my Graduation Ceremony?
Graduands will need to arrive at the venue prior to their guests for a full rehearsal. This will also include registration, gowning and event briefing. Timing will vary for each campus and will be listed on your ticket and event invitation.
When should my guests arrive?
Guests are recommended to arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Please note, only graduating students are admitted access to the gowning area for the rehearsal and briefing.
How long is my Graduation Ceremony?
The Graduation Ceremony will be approximately 1.5 hours in length. This will be followed by an hour-long cocktail reception where light food and refreshments will be served.
I forgot to RSVP to my invitation for the Graduation Ceremony...

Do I have to respond to my Graduation invitation if I am not attending a ceremony?
No, you are only required to RSVP/purchase tickets if you are attending the ceremony and reception event.
Can I join a different Graduation Ceremony to the one I was invited to?
Unfortunately, students are not able to participate in a different ceremony to the one that has been allocated to their cohort.
Can I just turn up to another Graduation date/location and hope there is a space if someone can’t make it?

I have graduated from an Undergraduate Certificate. Can I attend a Graduation Ceremony?
Unfortunately, students completing Undergraduate Certificates will not be included as part of the annual Graduation Ceremonies.
I have graduated from a Diploma of Health Science. Can I attend a Graduation Ceremony?
Students completing a Diploma of Health Science can attend the annual Graduation Ceremony.
Will there be general photos we can have access to as well as purchasing our exclusive photos?
Professional Graduation photography will be available at the ceremony and provided by Graduation Photography Services. Graduates have the option of sitting for formal portraits and family photos at the ceremony, which will be available at allotted times prior to the ceremony and again once the ceremony has concluded. There will also be a photo taken of each Graduate receiving their testamur on stage. These photos can be purchased online with a user code that will be issued to Graduates on the day.

If time permits, some general photos may also be taken of the ceremony and will be made available to Graduates free of charge.
Can I get a refund?
Guest graduand tickets are only refundable up until the initial RSVP cut-off date for each ceremony, or if the event is cancelled. In extenuating circumstances where a student or their guests may not be able to attend due to factors outside of their control, special considerations will be put in place on a case by case basis. Once the RSVP date has passed, refunds are no longer accepted. Please carefully confirm the event name, time, location and quantity of tickets before submitting your order.
Will we have to wear face masks at our ceremony?
Based on State Government Directive you may be required to wear a mask at the ceremony. The College continues to align with all State Government directives to support the health and safety of all students, clients and staff at the College and the wider community. We ask that you remain vigilant about your health and safety at this time as we strive to maintain a COVID-19 free environment.
