During the peak of the pandemic, the Australian Government introduced their higher education relief package. This initiative was developed to support workers displaced by the crisis to upskill or retrain, while supporting universities and other higher education providers to continue teaching. The Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) scheme was part of this initiative, and Endeavour College of Natural Health secured more than 200 of these places.
A Commonwealth Supported Place is a place at a university or higher education provider where the government pays part of your fees. This part is a subsidy – not a loan – and you don't have to pay it back. This subsidy does not cover the entire cost of your study. Students must pay the remainder as a 'student contribution amount’ and the amount must be paid by the census date for the subject.
Endeavour has 115 spots left across two short courses and we are offering a reduced price for ANTA members who apply in 2021. With your current experience, an Undergraduate Certificate may be achievable with as little as completing one or two subjects and count toward a full course, as well as CPE for ANTA members.
To be eligible for a CSP, students must be:
Being eligible for a CSP does not necessarily mean that you will be offered a place, as each course has its own entry requirements and Endeavour College only has a limited number of CSPs to offer.
We have two short courses approved under the scheme – both of which have a six-month duration and can be completed entirely online. A minimum of one subject must be completed to be awarded these Higher Education Certificates.
As health professionals, ANTA members may be eligible for a number of credits towards either of these qualifications. Ask us how you can get the credits you deserve.
This course enables students to gain a comprehensive understanding of human biology, human anatomy, chemistry and biochemistry and provides an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills required for higher education study. Graduates of this certificate can pathway directly into Endeavour Health Science degrees or may use it to seek credits into another medical, nursing or allied health qualification.
This course suits ANTA members looking to upskill their human biology and communications skills.
The full fee amount for this qualification is $7,714. However, if a student is enrolled with a CSP, the out-of-pocket expense is typically $625 per subject (after CSP is applied).
As part of this special promotion, Endeavour is offering ANTA members a further cost savings by reducing the out-of-pocket expense to $500 per subject. This student contribution amount may be deferred to FEE-HELP if a student is eligible.
This certificate allows students to obtain a comprehensive understanding of human nutrition and introduces students to food-based science, including food spoilage, food additives and natural toxins.
Given the more advanced nature of these subjects, this course is available exclusively to health practitioners and is ideal for ANTA members looking to fulfil CPE requirements.
The full fee amount for this qualification is $6,612. However, if a student is enrolled with a CSP, the out-of-pocket expense for ANTA members is $500 per subject (after CSP is applied). This student contribution amount may be deferred to FEE-HELP if a student is eligible.
