During the peak of the pandemic in 2020, the Australian Government introduced their higher education relief package. This initiative was developed to support workers displaced by the crisis to upskill or retrain, while supporting universities and other higher education providers to continue teaching. The Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) scheme was part of this initiative, and FIAFitnation's sister company Endeavour College of Natural Health secured more than 200 of these places.
A Commonwealth Supported Place is a place at a university or higher education provider where the government pays part of your fees. This part is a subsidy – not a loan – and you don't have to pay it back! This subsidy does not cover the entire cost of your study. Students must pay the remainder as a 'student contribution amount’ and the amount must be paid by the census date for the subject.
Endeavour is offering scholarships for FIA students and alumni looking to enrol in our Undergraduate Certificate in Lifestyle Coaching short course in August or September 2021.
To be eligible for a CSP, students must be:
This certificate is designed to develop emotional intelligence, self-confidence and understanding of various wellness areas that will allow comprehensive lifestyle coaching and practice. Students will establish a deep understanding of mindfulness, wellness, nutrition and physical practices and learn how to apply them in their own lives or with clients.
The full fee amount for this qualification is $6,501. However, if a student is enrolled with a CSP, the out-of-pocket expense is typically $2,000 for the course (after CSP is applied).
As part of this special promotion, Endeavour is offering FIA students and alumni a further cost savings by reducing the out-of-pocket expense to $1,000 for the course. This student contribution amount may be deferred to FEE-HELP if a student is eligible.
