About the presenter

Rose is a highly experienced herbalist and naturopath with 30 years of practice and peer education/mentoring experience. Her extensive understanding and enthusiasm for naturopathic treatment is drawn from a large long-term practice before moving to part-time practice to take up academic positions and provide MediHerb support for practitioners.

Rose has also completed a Master of Health Science (Herbal Medicine) and is a University of New England Vice-Chancellor’s Scholar and recipient of the School of Health Outstanding Scholarly Achievement award.

As part of her commitment to patient-centred care and preserving the profession, Rose has pursued a special interest in the self-adjusting demands of contemporary practice. This involves drawing from the best of both worlds by sharing knowledge and experience through a synthesis of traditional use and the critical assessment of evidence-based herbal medicine.
