Are you passionate about providing a seamless customer experience? This is a fast-paced customer service role supporting our students in their studies.

The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, self-directed, and motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a focus on excellence in customer service to meet a variety of students’ requests throughout their study journey at the College.

You will assist with general student FAQ’s as well as all queries that help a student progress in their studies throughout the student lifecycle. Additionally, this role provides on-campus administrative, student common room facilities and activities support (as required) to facilitate engagement and enhance the student experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all student queries via face to face, telephone and email enquiries
  • Supporting students' queries around re-enrolment, course progression and everyday enquiries that support students study outcomes
  • Working with the National Student Success team to manage workflow to ensure excellence of service to all students' enquiries
  • Assisting the Campus team with student engagement activities, open days and events to maximise student's engagement
  • Providing exceptional customer service to students through friendly, informative and timely responses to student enquiries, supporting a solution-focused approach
  • Proactively following up with students and relevant stakeholders so enquiries are addressed appropriately and escalating complex/high risk/ongoing issues in a timely manner.

This role is being offered as permanent, full time and is based at our Sydney campus.

You are motivated by providing exceptional service to support and enhance student service. Using your communication skills and customer service focus, you aim to provide a positive customer experience. You thrive working autonomously and have the ability to collaborate with your teammates virtually, located across multiple campuses.

This is an integral role, where things are changing on the daily, our students need you to help and support them through these evolving changes. You are driven by being challenged and keeping on top of policies and procedures and finding solutions to assist our students through their studying journey with us.

The following skills, experience and qualifications will support your success in this role:

  • A commitment to providing excellence in customer service to students
  • 1-2 years of customer facing experience - ideally in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Great organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexibility, resilience, patience, and a positive and proactive attitude to be solution focused on piecing many parts of the puzzle together to help achieve successful outcomes for students
  • Intermediate to advanced skills across Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in using CRM systems
  • Experience in Higher Education highly regarded, but not mandatory
  • Degree level qualification is desirable but not required, to give you that firsthand experience that you can draw on when supporting our students
