The opportunity

We are seeking to engage with a qualified and industry experienced educator for a Sessional Marker position in Naturopathic Medicine at any of our campuses. The primary objective for this role is to examine and mark assessments for various Naturopathic subjects.

Key responsibilities and activities for this role will include:

  • Marking and review of assessment materials in line with College requirements, including managing moderation process as directed.
  • Providing comprehensive feedback on each assessment.
  • Returning all assigned assessments and any supported documentation within the required timeframe.

This role is being offered as a sessional position located near our campus locations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.

About You

You're knowledgeable, self-motivated and passionate about providing the best possible learning experience for our students. You have experience with tertiary level marking and have worked within the Naturopathic Medicine industry.

Qualifications, skills and experience that will support you in this role include:

  • A Bachelor degree and a postgraduate qualification in Naturopathic Medicine.
  • Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Higher Education is highly desirable.
  • Professional association membership.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience working within the Nutritional Medicine industry.
  • Experience developing and reviewing teaching and assessment materials at Bachelor level in line with regulatory and professional guidelines.
  • Communication skills - strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to details skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a range of different stakeholders, including students and business professionals.
  • Demonstrated and proven commitment to high ethical, personal and professional standards in all aspects.
