About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated and thriving team as our Head of Department in Social Sciences on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Director of Education, you are an engaging and visible senior academic leader who will guide and oversee course development and delivery, select educational resources, assessment design and course evaluation to ensure quality, consistency and currency of courses nationally within professional and regulatory guidelines.

About you
You’re an expert in the field, have a strong understanding of social sciences nationally and internationally, and see the bigger picture and where it’s moving. You have experience in counselling and/or psychology along with management and leadership experience and have completed or are currently undertaking a PhD in a relevant field (counselling focus of the PhD research project is preferred).
