We are seeking to engage with a qualified and industry experienced educator, for the integral role of Curriculum Facilitator (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine).

The opportunity

We are seeking to engage with a qualified and industry experienced educator for a Curriculum Facilitator position in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine at one of our campuses. The primary objective for this role is to provide teaching and learning of the highest standard to the College, whilst motivating, supporting and engaging students and meeting their learning needs to produce high quality future professionals. You will act as a subject administrator for the Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine subjects and play a key role in ensuring subject materials and delivery of materials remain contemporary, consistent - with a focus on continued improvement.

Key responsibilities and activities for this role will include:

  • Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, practical classes, online sessions, demonstrations, workshops, etc. using innovative and stimulating course delivery for students undertaking undergraduate coursework programs in Nutritional Medicine. Supplement teaching materials with expertise and experience from professional practice.
  • Support the annual review process of subject content, materials, and assessments.
  • Act as first point of contact and liaison for student academic queries for Nutritional Medicine subjects.
  • Marking and review of assessment materials in line with College requirements, including managing moderation process as directed.
  • Maintaining contemporary knowledge of academic, professional and industrial developments in Nutritional Medicine.

This role is being offered as a permanent, full-time role located at our Sydney campuses.

About You

You're knowledgeable, self-motivated and passionate about providing the best possible learning experience for our students. You have experience with tertiary level teaching and have worked within the Nutritional Medicine industry.

Qualifications, skills and experience that will support you in this role include:

  • A Bachelor degree and a postgraduate qualification in Nutritional Medicine.
  • Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Higher Education is highly desirable.
  • Professional association membership.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in tertiary level teaching including subject delivery and teaching groups with diverse backgrounds and demographics across various modes of delivery.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience working within the Nutritional Medicine industry.
  • Experience developing and reviewing teaching and assessment materials at Bachelor level in line with regulatory and professional guidelines.
  • Communication skills - strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a range of different stakeholders, including students and business professionals.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships and build alliances both within and external to the College, including industry and the wider community.
  • Demonstrated and proven commitment to high ethical, personal and professional standards in all aspects.
