The opportunity

We have a requirement for a Clinical Supervisor – Chinese Medicine at our Gold Coast campus for our next Clinic Block commencing in September 2022.

For our Clinical Supervisor positions, we look for people motivated by supporting and mentoring our students to become the best practitioners, and making a genuine difference to the profession.

You will have strong clinical supervision experience (ideally at least 5 years clinical experience), with a Bachelor degree qualification in a relevant field. Additionally, you will be required to have a current professional membership with AHRPA. Remedial massage (Tui Na) experience, a Chinese Herbal Medication qualification and Chinese Medicine dispensing is highly desirable.

About you

You will be an integral member of the Academic department by supporting students through their learning journey, meeting their learning needs and preparing them to become high-quality future practitioners.

You will achieve this by:

  • Supporting, guiding and managing students’ learning experience within a student clinic setting
  • Enhancing provided subject materials with your own professional experiences and stories to provide students with real-world connection and relevance of subject material to their future practice
  • Assessing students’ clinical performance on an ongoing basis, identifying students at risk who are not meeting the clinical requirements and mitigating the risk
  • Supporting students in their treatment of clients including time management, client treatment, diagnosis, recommendations and client confidentiality and file management
