A customer-focused reception role overseeing the operations for the Clinic. The role also acts as a liaison between the operations and academic teams.

The opportunity

This is a fast-paced, face-to-face, customer-focused role where you will manage and oversee the operations of the Adelaide Endeavour Wellness Clinic. Endeavour Wellness Clinics are a national network of public-facing clinics, part of Endeavour College of Natural Health, which also act as a practical teaching environment for our students. There is a clinic on each of our six campuses nationwide, which offer a variety of affordable natural healthcare treatments to the public.

Your key focus will be to provide excellent service to our students whilst they learn essential clinical practical skills to enable them to succeed in the Natural Health industry once graduated. In addition to the local support, you will provide to our clients, staff and students, this role also has a national academic liaison focus area.

Key responsibilities and activities of this role include:

  • General business operations management including financial administration, inventory management, and clinic orientation and induction sessions
  • Liaising with relevant academic clinic coordinators to drive improvement and change
  • Client management – fostering the Clinic’s role in the local community, stimulating local demand, raising awareness with new clients, and encouraging repeat visits
  • Face-to-face customer service by being situated on the clinic reception, overseeing the day-to-day running of the clinic ensuring staff, students and clients are supported
  • Workplace Health and Safety management and compliance

This role is being offered on a full time, fixed-term, twelve-month maternity leave contract on our Adelaide Campus.

About you

You are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience to our clients, staff, and students. You are a team player – you take ownership and have an innate desire to drive growth and improvement. You have an interest in the health and well-being sector and want to be part of the Natural Health industry.

Using your previous experience in a fast-paced clinic environment, you know how to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines. You are reliable, positive, highly organised, with strong time management skills and attention to detail.

The following skills and experience will support your success in this role:

  • Customer service experience in a clinic or education environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • The ability to work independently
  • Highly computer literate, with the ability to learn and train others on our software systems
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is advantageous, but not essential
