Natural Health Careers Month

If you’re looking to turn your passion into your purpose and pursue a career in natural health, then be sure to check out Endeavour’s very own Natural Health Careers Month, happening this September.

What is the Natural Health Careers Month?

Endeavour’s Natural Health Careers Month is a month-long (surprise!) online event in September dedicated to the exciting and diverse possibilities a career in natural health can take you. Each week we will focus on different courses so, depending on your specific interest, you choose the week (or weeks) that suits you. Throughout the month we’ll be hosting a range of live webinars, on demand videos, useful articles, live Q&As and more. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect…

Week 1: Complementary Medicine and short courses

Looking to dip your toe in natural health study or simply keen to get a broad knowledge of the field? Our Bachelor of Complementary Medicine or our Undergraduate Certificates may be perfect for you. This week you can attend webinars that give you the opportunity to learn more about these courses, understand the enrolment process and see if you’re eligible for credit recognition.

Week 2: Nutrition

With career growth in Nutrition growing stronger and stronger, it’s easy to see why people are drawn to this immersive and highly practical course. This week, learn to heal your gut with a couple of our nutrition lecturers, attend webinars that delve into the specifics of the course, and get a better understanding of which course is for you, and gain an understanding of what you can expect as a student at Endeavour.

Week 3: Naturopathy

Take your love of natural health and turn it into a career in Naturopathy. With a focus on “healing through nature", our naturopathy degree gives students a holistic experience covering social sciences and biological sciences with a focus on clinical practice. This week you’ll find out more about our naturopathy course (and get to ask your own questions!), how to enrol and have the opportunity to discover the world of tea blending.

Week 4: Myotherapy and Remedial Massage

If a career in Myotherapy or remedial massage is something you’ve been considering, then Week 4 of our Natural Health Careers Month is for you. We’ll also be showcasing our myotherapy degree as well as our massage courses which include a HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage and a HLT42015 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. You’ll also be able to attend a live session on how to improve your posture (something we all need) as well as a pathways session so you can get a better understanding on your eligibility for credit recognition.

Week 5: Acupuncture

Week 5 is dedicated to our Acupuncture degree, where you’ll attend webinars that cover exactly what studying acupuncture entails as well as the career opportunities available to you upon graduation. Join us for a practical and interesting webinar where we explore tongue diagnosis and get a mini tour of our Wellness Clinic PLUS a Q&A with a current student!

Are you a high school student?

If you’re exploring your study options for when you leave school, we’ll be hosting webinars every week that cover topics including what it’s like to study a degree, what the difference is between a public and private college and what exactly is FEE-HELP. You’ll also learn about our scholarship opportunities as well as what is required to enrol at Endeavour.
