Until recently, if you lived in a regional or remote Australian community, your higher education opportunities were limited unless you moved to a big city. Today, you can be 200 or 2,000 kilometres from a capital city and study exciting courses like Endeavour’s Diploma of Health Science.

Help your community thrive

If you’re living in a regional or remote community and you’ve thought about exploring a natural health career, you can now do so without leaving home. Use the Diploma of Health Science to get started in a natural health career or to expand your job prospects.

If you’re determined to help your local community thrive, this Diploma offers you useful, foundational knowledge in biological and social sciences. Plus, choose elective subjects from naturopathy or nutritional and dietetic medicine based on your own areas of interest. With your new skills in communication, critical thinking, organisation and digital literacy, you’ll soon find your way into the industry.

After you qualify, you can work across allied health, complementary medicine, health and pharmacy retail, community health projects and counselling. Or you may prefer to start a small business in recipe and product development, creating goods like herbal teas, healthy meal packs or beauty products.

A cutting-edge digital learning environment

You can complete the Diploma of Health Science in a year full-time or two years part-time and entirely online. Endeavour has created a digital learning space that allows you to access your learning materials on any device, anywhere and anytime. It’s a flexible and immersive learning environment tailored to you. With a wealth of resources and different opportunities to interact with your lecturers and classmates, you will still feel connected, even if you’re miles away.

Support to study natural health

We will work with you to design a study plan that suits your individual needs. Plus, there are many ways that Endeavour supports regional students to succeed in their studies. Help is only ever a couple of clicks away!

Endeavour’s support services include our:

  • The student assistance program, which provides current students with free access to a professional, confidential and independent counselling service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Academic assistance. If you find you need additional support with your subjects, you can book consultations with your lecturers via the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Student Adviser Consultations. Our Student Services team is always on hand to assist you with enrolments, course progression and support services. If you have a specific topic that you’d like to discuss, book a one-on-one consultation via the LMS.
  • Free access to Studiosity, which offers 24/7 online study support. Yes, even on weekends! You can get help with study questions and assignments via live chat with a Subject Specialist or receive detailed, personalised feedback on your assignment draft in less than 24 hours.
