Red Cross Bush Fire Appeal Cheque Presentation

Natural Therapists contribute to World’s largest fundraiser

Endeavour College of Natural Health today presented a cheque for over $20,000 to the Australian Red Cross to assist the survivors of the Victorian bushfires.

The money was raised when therapists massaged over a thousand city workers and shoppers in city centres of Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

The presentation was made to Mr Andrew Hilton, Executive Director, Victoria of the Red Cross at the Victorian State Office who explained, “The bushfire appeal has become the world’s largest ever fundraiser with the total amount raised now sitting at $355 million.”

"Endeavour College is committed to providing quality natural health education and service that improves the health and wellbeing of the community” said Dr Nicholas Vardaxis, Director of Education. “Our involvement with community events and ability to assist the damaging effects of epidemic or disaster are manifest in recent activities that helped the Victorian bushfire victims.”
