Bachelor degrees now available in Adelaide

Degree Qualifications in natural health now a reality; a first for South Australia.  Endeavour College of Natural Health today announced the launch of two Bachelor Degree programs in natural medicine for South Australia, thereby creating a pathway for students who until now have had to travel interstate for such an award. The Bachelor of Health Science degrees in Naturopathy and Acupuncture were developed by Endeavour College in response to health sector demand for professionals with higher levels of education and are designed to produce graduates with cutting edge skills and experience in holistic health. Students of the BHSc (Acupuncture) degree will have a unique opportunity to undertake part of their studies in China while students of the BHSc (Naturopathy) degree will carry out more research and clinical practise than has previously been undertaken in diploma programs.

"We are very proud to have had our degrees in naturopathy and acupuncture approved for delivery at our Adelaide campus by the Hon Michael O’Brien MP; Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education” said John Feenie, Executive Chairman of Endeavour College.

“We intend to ensure that we meet and exceed the high standard of education expected of us.” Kevin Watkins, Director of Operations-SA believes “This is a monumental occasion for the natural medicine industry in Adelaide and SA as a whole. To have face-to-face delivery of degrees in naturopathy and acupuncture will prepare graduates for the ever increasing demand for complementary medicine services.”

The two programs rolled out at the beginning of August 2009. Students have access to FEE-HELP making the opportunity for changing career more of a reality.
