State of the art equipment including:
Business resource Centre: In the Business Resource Centre the Clinic students will find many of the business resources needed to set up their own business and modality specific information for professional association memberships.
Graduate Clinic: With the increase in Melbourne CBD residents in recent years, Endeavour clinics have had more demand than they can cope with in particular modalities. Due to this, Endeavour are piloting a Graduate Clinic which aims to benefit the community by providing high quality continuity of care with a year-round presence and availability of a variety of practitioners; and the students, but offering them a stepping stone from student clinic to professional private practice and revenue for new graduates while they are establishing their careers.
Research: Endeavour College of Natural Health makes a fundamental contribution to the clinical education of thousands of student practitioners. In addition to the treatment of the clients the practitioners also educate their clients in the way of complementary medicine and work with these same clients to plan treatment strategies.
Research within the Endeavour Teaching Clinics is important because demand for Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) in Australia has been growing at a significant pace (ABS 2008). As this interest in complementary medicines increases, more evidence of the benefit of CAM modalities is needed to improve the practice and understanding of the efficacy of these modalities. This research will add to this evidence. Students will also benefit with involvement in the research as it will add to their educational experience and provide the base knowledge should they want to be involved in research in the future.
Research has recently been completed at the Melbourne Clinic and also at Alfred Hospital.
